Orlando, Fla. - Brady McDonald, a Florida-based runner, has completed what he describes as the first-ever endurance challenge of its kind: running a distance equivalent to a marathon (50K) in all 50 U.S. states over 50 consecutive days. The ambitious project began on July 25 in Kissimmee and concluded with McDonald finishing his final run in Hawaii. Throughout this extensive journey, which covered approximately 1,553 miles across the country, McDonald successfully raised $1 million for Make-A-Wish.

The primary objective of McDonald's endeavor was to generate funds and awareness for children battling critical illnesses. "Just tell myself like, listen, we're doing this for kids that are in hospital beds that don't get to choose their pain," McDonald said. "They didn't choose their suffering. I do get to choose it."
