Dana White, the President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), has confirmed that he is traveling to meet with Donald Trump on Monday. The announcement was made by White himself on Saturday, following a social media post from the U.S. president offering him the position of press secretary.

### London Visit and Official Confirmation

The UFC CEO provided confirmation of the upcoming meeting while he was in London for business purposes. Although specific details regarding the location or agenda of Monday's discussion were not immediately detailed in White’s initial statement, the confirmation marks a significant intersection between major sports entertainment leadership and high-level federal political operations, a story we covered in [Trump Aides Plot to Block Leavitt Successor Amid Press Ban Reversal](/noticia/trump-aides-plot-to-block-leavitt-successor-amid-press-ban-reversal).

White confirmed Saturday that he is headed to meet Donald Trump on Monday after the president offered him the press secretary job in a social media post. White was in London at the time of the offer.

### The Press Secretary Offer

The catalyst for this scheduled meeting stems from an invitation extended by President Trump via his social media platform, Truth Social. The former boxing champion and current UFC head expressed interest in joining the administration's communications team, a role that would place him at the center of federal government messaging.

White’s potential entry into such a high-profile political advisory position represents an unusual crossover between professional combat sports management and national governance. As the leader of one of the world's largest mixed martial arts organizations, White brings significant media visibility to any public role he assumes.
